Hailing from a background in musical theater, The Transducers deliver carefully crafted arrangements of smoothly blended styles that showcase rich harmonies and fresh instrumentation. Their “Transducified” covers span across the decades, often including a special spice blend of soulful, funky rock. The band’s original songs are beautifully arranged and produced, and they have multiple releases streaming on all platforms.
Notable performances include pre-concert shows for renowned artists such as Pat Benatar, Melissa Etheridge, Jewel, Post Modern Jukebox and Kansas at The Mountain Winery in Saratoga, appearances at The West End Celebration in Sand City, The California Mid-State Fair, Ghostland Music Festival, Carmel’s Forest Theater, Paper Wing Theatre and Supper Club on Cannery Row, and the renowned Wave Street Studios. The band’s “Pub Talk” jingle has been featured on KRML’s Pub Talk radio show, and their original music has garnered live radio performances and airtime rotation on KSQD and KRML.
The band is: Taylor Safina (keyboard and vocals), Sam Salerno (bass and vocals), Jesse DeCarlo (guitar and vocals), Michael Kobrinsky/Steve Parmley (drums).

ABOUT THE BAND
Originating from a background deeply rooted in musical theater, The Transducers emerge as a versatile quartet, seamlessly blending elements of rock, funk, pop, and a touch of outlaw-ballad essence. Their repertoire comprises finely crafted original compositions alongside their signature “Transducifying” renditions of classics spanning various genres and eras. Notable performances include opening for renowned artists such as Pat Benatar and Melissa Etheridge at The Mountain Winery in Saratoga in 2023, as well as appearances at the Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles. Their original music has garnered airtime on local radio stations KSQD and KRML, with plans for the release of their debut full-length album slated for the summer of 2024.
